Dr Syed Nasser

Founder and Director

Dr Syed Nasser is an Intensive Care Doctor and researcher in IL–18 biology. Dr Nasser is the Managing Director of BIOSIRIUS Ltd and the named inventor. He was the author of the first study to analyse free interleukin-18 levels in over 200 patients, demonstrating key time-points of elevation associated with morbidity and mortality.

Dr Shuaib Nasser

Founder, Director and Regulatory Expert

Dr Shuaib Nasser is a Consultant in allergy and asthma at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and has served on the NICE board for drug approval, as well as sat as advisor on boards for advisory boards for GSK, TEVA and Novartis. He currently advises Astrazeneca, ALK and GALDERMA. Author of over 100 publications and winner of the William Frankland BSACI award for outstanding services to allergy.

Dr Rainer Doffinger

Founder and Scientific Expert

Dr Rainer Doffinger is a Consultant Clinical Scientist in Immunology and head of the Cytokine Laboratory at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Author of over 230 publications and an expert in cytokine analysis. Dr Doffinger is an elected member of the Henry Krunkel Society.

Professor Ben Creagh Brown

Clinical Trial Specialist and Advisor

Professor and Consultant Intensive Care and Respiratory Medicine specialising in perioperative medicine, and sepsis research, with extensive experience in clinical trial design and setup.
